Founded in 1944 in Ichalkaranji by the visionary Late Shri Dagdulal Marda Ji, Arvind Group has evolved from humble cotton yarn trading roots into a fully integrated textile powerhouse delivering premium yarns, fabrics, and finished woven products across domestic and international markets.

A dynamic company seamlessly blending innovation and tradition, Arvind Group was founded in 1944 in Ichalkaranji by the visionary Late Shri Dagdulal Ji Marda. What began as cotton yarn trading has evolved, through generations of dedication, into a fully integrated textile powerhouse covering yarns, grey and dyed fabrics, dhoti, uniform fabrics, suiting, shirting, finished woven products, and renewable energy.
Arvind Group specialises in 100% Cotton, Polyester-Cotton (PC), and Polyester-Viscose (PV) blended yarns (Ne 30–60), grey and dyed woven fabrics, poplin, cambric, lawn, satin, twill, dobby, spandex, suiting, and uniform fabrics as well as woven and hosiery finished products for formal, casual, and industrial segments. Our export footprint spans Korea, Thailand, Bangladesh, the USA, Latin America, and the Middle East.

Late Shri Dagdulal Harnath Marda arrived in Ichalkaranji at 16 with zero capital. By 1948 he established his own firm, pioneering value-added textiles yarn trading, sizing, powerlooms, and processing providing livelihoods to over 2,500 families across 32 years.
The founder's untimely passing plunged the family into crisis heavy estate duties, dominating partners, zero capital. Guided by Kamaladevi Marda's unifying resolve, the four brothers acted as one: cycled to work, pooled resources, and rebuilt through in-house sizing and sheer determination.
Dispatching up to 20,000 dhotis daily across India, the Arvind brand became synonymous with trust. In-house processing and marketing integration earned major institutional and government supply contracts, cementing Arvind as a pioneer in Dhoti manufacturing.
Full-scale textile manufacturing launched in 1995. Continuous reinvestment multiplied capacity across multiple high-tech units, building a fully integrated textile ecosystem Arvind Cotsyn (India) Ltd., Arvind Dyeing & Bleaching Mills Pvt. Ltd., Arvind Universal Textiles Pvt. Ltd., and Arvind Spintex Pvt. Ltd. spanning spinning, weaving, dyeing, and export.
